On April 25, 2022, 25-year-old Darwin Garcia, a Hispanic male, was fatally shot in the Hilltop neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Whitethorne Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene to find Garcia suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
