Larry Lamar Cruse, a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2016, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Known affectionately by his nickname "Turtle," Cruse was a beloved father of four children and a well-regarded member of his community. He was found dead inside his vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet, which had crashed into a wooden fence in the side yard of 200 N. Martin Luther King Avenue.
