Ramon Antonio Alvarado-Cubas, a 32-year-old Latino man, was fatally injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Charlotte, North Carolina, on February 16, 2020. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at the Brook Valley Apartments on Deanna Lane. Police responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service around 2:01 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Alvarado-Cubas outside an apartment building with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
