On October 24, 2021, Corey White, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in the uptown area of Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a business on West Carson Boulevard at approximately 2:17 a.m. An altercation erupted between Corey and a group of individuals, leading to several shots being fired.
