Tashon Malyk Mock, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 16, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to reports, Tashon was a bystander during a drive-by shooting near a convenience store in the University City area. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on University City Boulevard near John Kirk Drive. Tashon and another individual were shot and taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, Tashon succumbed to his injuries.
