On March 28, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., 33-year-old Ariel Maurice Harrison was fatally shot on Blythwood Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers found Harrison deceased at the scene.

Following the incident, two suspects were apprehended: 24-year-old Brendon Goodell and 29-year-old Robert Vantassell. Both individuals were charged with Harrison's murder. Details regarding the motive behind the shooting have not been disclosed.
