Christopher Watson Jr., a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 9, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Fairmarket Square Apartments, located off Fairmarket Place. According to reports, Watson was shot during an argument with his girlfriend, Rece Cherrell King, a 21-year-old African American female. The argument took place in the breezeway of the apartment building, and witnesses reported hearing a single gunshot.
