Teaun Bates, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 7, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Delta Crossing Apartments on Delta Crossing Lane. Bates was found with gunshot wounds outside the apartment complex and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
