Jaavion Blackmon, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 15, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on North Wendover Road in the southeast area of the city. Jaavion was found shot multiple times during the nighttime hours. Emergency paramedics arrived at the scene but declared him dead upon arrival. The investigation into his death revealed that several shots were fired, resulting in his fatal injuries.
