Derrick Lamar Chambers, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 6, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Derrick was born on September 28, 1987, and was a beloved member of his community. He received his education at E.E. Waddell High School in Charlotte and furthered his studies at Winston-Salem State University. Derrick worked as a manager at Champs Sports and also as a driver for Collins Cleaners.
