Keith Lawrence Ross, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 16, 2017, in west Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Botany Street, near West Charlotte High School. According to reports, Ross was shot outside and ran into a house for help, where he ultimately collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked Charlotte's 31st homicide of the year.
