Reginald Deveaux, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a Citgo gas station on Charlotte's east side, where gunfire erupted, leading to his fatal injuries. Officers responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. and found Deveaux suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
