David Reginald Griffin, a 41-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2015, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in North Charlotte, where Griffin was fatally shot around 7 p.m. on Vanderbilt Road. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
