Eric Behrends, a 29-year-old man from Charlotte, NC, was tragically killed on the night of September 22, 2022. Eric, who was known for his sense of humor and love for video games, was walking home from a 7-Eleven in the Steele Creek area when he was shot in the back of the head by an unknown assailant. The incident occurred near the entrance of Rivergate Apartments on South Tryon Street.
