Donald Scott Taylor, a 21-year-old Black man, was tragically murdered on Memorial Day, May 30, 2022, at a Quik Trip gas station on Central Avenue in Charlotte, NC. The incident occurred during a drag racing investigation. Taylor was involved in a minor fender bender in the Quik Trip parking lot, which resulted in minor scratches and bumps.
