Ahmad Malik Kadir, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot in the early morning hours of June 6, 2020, on Neuhoff Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was celebrating a new job with friends when he became the victim of a drive-by shooting. Ahmad was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on June 9, 2020. His death has been classified as a homicide.
