On November 1, 2006, 21-year-old Matthew Leon Nicholson was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident took place at the Easy Shop convenience store located on 4405 Plaza Road. According to witnesses, Nicholson was standing outside the store when a suspect approached him from behind and shot him multiple times.
