On June 4, 1991, 16-year-old Wejewen Briston Byers and 20-year-old Robert Lee Cooper were found dead from gunshot wounds on Poinsett Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Both victims were discovered lying in the street, and their deaths were the result of a violent shooting.
