On October 30, 2006, Clayton Herbert Berry, aged 36, was fatally shot in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store located at 1419 W. Trade Street. Berry, who had ridden his bicycle to the location, became involved in an altercation with two men. During this confrontation, he was shot and killed.
