Rafael Reyes, a 40-year-old Honduran immigrant, tragically died on August 18, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He succumbed to injuries sustained from a gunshot wound to the head, which occurred during an altercation at the City Inn Motel on Nations Ford Road. The incident began as a fight that escalated into gunfire, leaving Reyes and another man injured. While Reyes did not survive, the other victim was expected to recover.
