Scott Allen Brooks, a 61-year-old white male, was tragically shot and killed on December 9, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Scott was the co-owner of Brooks' Sandwich House, a beloved local eatery known for its burgers, hot dogs, and chili. On the morning of his death, Scott was opening the restaurant when he was confronted by an unknown, armed individual. Despite efforts by officers and medical personnel, Scott succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
