Trey Anthony McClendon, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Trey and another individual, Shariff Oliphant, were victims of a double homicide that occurred at a strip mall on Montana Drive in west Charlotte. The two men were standing with a group of people when suspects approached and opened fire. The group dispersed, but unfortunately, both Trey and Shariff were struck by the gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene.
