Darius Deon Chapman, a 33-year-old man, was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 18, 2016. The incident occurred early in the morning on Brookshire Boulevard near Interstate 85. A passing Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer noticed what appeared to be a wreck and stopped to investigate.
