On October 28, 2010, 68-year-old Roosevelt Hinton was tragically killed during a robbery at the Get-A-Way Lounge, a bar he owned, located on Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early afternoon, around 1:58 p.m. Hinton was fatally shot during the robbery, and a suspect fled the scene in a faded black late 1990s or early 2000s Honda coupe. This vehicle had distinctive black and silver rims and the words “F--- the War” scratched into the passenger rear ...
