On May 10, 2007, William Lamont Green, a 32-year-old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, was fatally shot during a struggle in a parking lot at an apartment complex on North Wendover Road. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. and involved two black males and a white female who arrived in a dark-colored SUV.
