On September 10, 2015, 42-year-old Anthony Barbour was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the afternoon in the 310 block of Oregon Street. Barbour, described by family members as a family man, was living at the time with his daughter. According to initial investigations, Barbour and a suspect were involved in an altercation that escalated into the fatal shooting. Witnesses reported seeing a red car speed away from the scene shortly after shots were fired.
