Jabari Sultan Stewart, a 38-year-old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on January 4, 2017. The incident took place in northwest Charlotte, near Stewart's home on Stonefort Court, located close to Pleasant Grove Road. Stewart was shot in the early evening hours, around 7:00 p.m. Initial reports indicated that he may have been inside his home when the shooting began. He attempted to leave the house but was found outside, critically injured.
