On April 15, 2019, Jamil Davis, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a double shooting in the Hidden Valley neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Hidden Valley Road and West Sugar Creek Road. When officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrived at the scene, they found two men who had been shot.
