Steve Alphonso Martin, a 38-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2021, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the evening along the 2100 block of Milburnie Road in east Raleigh. According to reports, Raleigh police responded to the scene just before 6:50 p.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls from witnesses who heard six gunshots.
