Aveon Baker, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 20, 2022, near Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant where Aveon was working. Several suspects were involved in the shooting, and first responders pronounced Aveon dead at the scene.

Following the incident, an 18-year-old named Khamarin Floyd was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Aveon's death. ...
