Patrick Alonzo Alston, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed outside a gas station in northeast Charlotte, North Carolina, on January 27, 2019. The incident occurred at the Shell gas station near the intersection of Mallard Creek Road and Carolina Lilly Lane. When the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrived at the scene, they found Patrick Alonzo Alston suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. Despite the efforts of MEDIC, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
