Douglas O'Niell Mangum, a 30-year-old Black man from Fayetteville, NC, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2022. He was shot in the upper torso at his residence on Veanna Drive and was later pronounced dead at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The incident occurred in broad daylight, and the police were called to the scene shortly after 12:15 p.m.

Following an investigation, Tirreil Mario Maynor, a 39-year-old Black man from Fayetteville, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder ...
