In the fall of 2008, the life of 28-year-old James Nelson Living Jr. was tragically cut short in an act of violence that stemmed from a dispute at his place of work. On November 20, 2008, Living, the manager of a Burger King in Lafayette, Louisiana, was fatally shot. The incident that led to his death began with a disagreement with an employee, Shannon J. Touchet.
