Frederick Richardson, a 48-year-old man from Baton Rouge, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2019, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was fatally shot at a hotel on the Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette. The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m. when police responded to reports of shots fired at the hotel. Richardson was found with at least one gunshot wound and was immediately taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
