In the early evening of January 7, 2009, a young couple's life together was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Twenty-year-old Beth Ann Duncan and her husband, twenty-three-year-old Dustin Thomas Duncan, were discovered shot inside a van, their lives taken by an act of gun violence. The grim discovery marked the beginning of a homicide investigation that would soon point to a suspect.
