On May 26, 2012, 24-year-old Raymond Louis Sowell from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot. The National Gun Violence Memorial lists him among individuals killed by gun violence on that date.
According to SpotCrime's Baton Rouge cold cases, Raymond Sowell's death is classified as a gunshot-related homicide. The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is the investigating agency.
