On May 21, 2023, Abel Palomares, a 28-year-old resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was fatally shot in the 12000 Block of Province Place, off Old Hammond Highway. The incident occurred around 10:32 p.m. following an argument with an unidentified male suspect.
