In the afternoon hours of a Tuesday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a young life was tragically cut short by violence. Seventeen-year-old Tyrese Stewart, a male, was in the 3300 block of Dalton Street when gunfire erupted at approximately 4:21 p.m. The shooting took place near the corner of Dalton Street and North Acadian Thruway.
