On January 28, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred on Evangeline Street near North Foster Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 36-year-old George Johnson. The incident took place inside a home, where Johnson was found deceased due to gunshot wounds.
