In the summer of 2007, the life of a promising young artist was tragically cut short on the streets of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ryan Thomas L. Heard, a 19-year-old African American male known to many by his nickname 'Lil Sticky,' was shot and killed on July 15th of that year. Heard was an aspiring hip-hop producer with dreams of furthering his craft by attending audio engineering classes.
