In the late hours of a Monday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy befell 35-year-old Courtney Hart, a Black male known to friends and family as 'Citi.' On December 16, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., Hart was on the threshold of his own home in the 13600 block of Kenner Avenue, near Perkins Road, when his life was abruptly cut short. An unidentified individual approached him just as he was about to enter his apartment and opened fire.
