On December 16, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., 35-year-old Courtney Hart was fatally shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 13600 block of Kenner Avenue, near Perkins Road. According to a witness, Hart was approached by an unidentified individual just before entering his apartment; the assailant shot Hart and then fled the scene.
