In the early morning hours of February 13, 2017, the life of Tevin Gunter, a 25-year-old male, was cut short by violence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At approximately 6:00 a.m., Gunter was discovered in front of a residence in the 5300 block of Annette Street. He was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Baton Rouge Coroner's office. The area where the shooting occurred was known to have experienced several other shootings in the past.
