Jessie Johnson, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 1:00 PM in the 9000 block of South Choctaw Drive. Jessie and a front-seat passenger were inside a vehicle when three suspects in a 2015 Ford 150 began shooting, striking their vehicle multiple times. Jessie died at the scene, while the other victim, a 25-year-old male, was struck multiple times but is expected to survive his gunshot injuries.
