In the early hours of a January morning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of Kelvin Montgomery was tragically cut short. The 49-year-old African American man was discovered around 1:00 a.m. on January 9, 2021, in a parking lot located at 9702 Greenwell Springs Road, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
