In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026, the life of 26-year-old Erika Latavia Latham was tragically cut short in Uniontown, Alabama. The incident, which marked the city's first homicide of the year, unfolded just after 1:00 a.m. in the 200 block of Water Avenue.
