On a December day in Baton Rouge, Brandon Collins, a 28-year-old male, was at a barbershop with his two children. He stepped outside to take a phone call, a seemingly ordinary moment that would turn tragic. As he stood by his car, two men approached him, and multiple gunshots shattered the afternoon calm. The assailants fled the scene on foot, leaving Collins with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his wounds on January 4, 2018.
