In the early morning hours of August 20, 2020, the life of Charles Henry Slan Jr., a 30-year-old African American man, was tragically cut short. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Slan was a dedicated Hydro Blaster at Power Cleaning Specialist.

The fatal incident occurred at his residence on Sharp Lane. Shortly before 5 a.m., Slan was shot and killed. When emergency services arrived, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into his death was immediately launched ...
