In the city of Baton Rouge, a sense of unease settled over a neighborhood as police began a homicide investigation into the death of 40-year-old Donald Epps. On the morning of September 26, 2024, at approximately 11:02 a.m., Epps was discovered deceased inside a residence located in the 3300 block of Hollywood Street, near Longfellow Drive.
