In the summer of 2023, the life of 34-year-old Christopher Holden was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the morning of July 15th, volunteers participating in a park cleanup at BREC's South Flannery Park made a grim discovery: the body of a man who had been shot. The man was identified as Christopher Holden.

Investigators with the Baton Rouge Police Department quickly determined that Holden had not been killed at the park, but that his body had been brought there after the ...
