In the late summer of 2015, the life of 28-year-old Henry C. McGuffey, III, a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Tuesday, September 22, 2015, violence erupted, leaving McGuffey with fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was also struck by gunfire during the incident but survived his injuries. The shooting plunged a family into mourning and prompted an investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.
